In Israel, psychologist is a protected title. Only a practitioner listed on the Ministry of Health's Psychologists' Register, the Pinkas HaPsychologim, is legally authorised to use it. The register carries the general title alongside the clinical, educational and rehabilitation specialisms, so it will tell you which of those a person actually holds.
It is a psychologists' list and answers for that title rather than for every therapist. You can check a psychologist on the Ministry of Health register.
