Indonesia's legal authority for psychology is HIMPSI, the Himpunan Psikologi Indonesia. A psychologist practising here should hold two things: a professional title certificate, the Sertifikat Sebutan Psikolog, and a current practice permit, the SIPP. The titles HIMPSI covers run from Ilmuwan Psikologi, the psychology graduate, through Psikolog and its specialist categories.
Both documents can be confirmed in one place, so before you make contact you can look up a psychologist on the HIMPSI Cari Psikolog portal. Verify with Himpunan Psikologi Indonesia (HIMPSI).
