Psychologist

An experience children psychologist. Focus predominantly in play, art and drawing therapy

About Me

As an experienced children's psychologist, I know young minds often find it hard to put big feelings into words. Through play, art, and drawing therapy, I help children express emotions they might not yet understand. These creative approaches provide a gentle, safe space for them to explore worries or challenges. This makes me a good match for children struggling with communication, guiding them towards greater emotional understanding and confidence.

Approach

Creative activities become the language we use to make sense of feelings and try out new responses, with sessions guided by the child’s rhythm and curiosity. In Palembang I work in English and Malay-Indonesian, offering calm, predictable sessions where caregivers and I share observations between meetings to support progress. I combine playful tasks with gentle, structured noticing so children can build emotional words, safety skills, and clearer behaviour patterns. This way of working often helps families looking for practical, child-led ways to understand and manage worries.
