Latvia splits the answer between two registers, and which one applies depends on the title in front of you. A psychologist's standing is held by the State Education Quality Service, where registered status means practising under supervision and certified status means practising independently, so that distinction is worth asking about directly. Doctors and healthcare support staff sit in the Health Inspectorate's register instead.
