I will support you in accepting your difficulties, transforming them into something workable, creating a path forward, and finding meaningful value in the experience.

About Me

My name is Gennady. I am originally from Latvia, but I currently live in Copenhagen, Denmark. I am a member of Danish Psychotherapy Association. I have always been interested in searching for meaning in life - observing, reflecting, taking action, and gaining experience. At some point, I realized that emotions such as anger, envy, and disappointment come and go. However, feelings like love, compassion, and tolerance are something we need to learn and cultivate. I help people gently accept their emotions, connect with the inner resources that support them, and, guided by their values, find their way forward in any situation. So, it is our choice how we respond to the situations that arise in our lives.

Approach

There is always space for you in my consultations. I do not push or direct my clients, I follow them. I believe that each person knows more than anyone else about their own life, character, and situation. The answers are already within you; my role is to help you discover them in a warm, supportive, and trusting atmosphere. I am not your teacher - I am your partner in this process. Together, we will find the right path for you in your situation. A consultation is not like a visit to a doctor, it is more like a deep conversation between old friends. At the beginning, we will take time to get to know each other and build a trusting connection. Then, at your own pace, we will gently move toward the topics that matter most to you.

Basic Information

Services

I studied for three years at Value Aimed University. It has quiet new method in therapy, but it's based on the teachings of humane psychologists like Viktor Frankl, Carl Rogers, and Abraham Maslow. I have over 700 hours of studying psychology with high-class psychologists, such as Oleg Gadetsky, Oleg Eremenko, and Dmitry Pshonko. This includes more than 50 hours of therapy and over 150 hours of consultations. Of course, these numbers are not static; I continue to study, consult, and attend therapy. I also work with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In addition, I offer supportive accompaniment, depending on your needs and the nature of your request.
