You are so tired of trying to keep up, protecting yourself, and holding it all together. Beneath the surface, there is a quiet ache from old wounds that still dictates your present life. Here, you don't have to explain away your pain. In this safe space, you will finally be fully seen, deeply heard, and gently guided to lay down what no longer serves you. Together, we will look closely at the wounds of the past, untangle them with compassion, and allow your true self to safely emerge.

About Me

I am a warranted Gestalt psychotherapist and somatic nervous system practitioner working with adults, and I am also currently undertaking Compassionate Inquiry training with Dr. Gabor Maté. I combine evidence-based therapy with a warm, personal approach to help clients navigate emotional challenges, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal growth. Feel Free to check out my website here: https://www.christy-onlinetherapy.com/

Approach

You are so tired of holding it all together. From the outside, you may look fine. You show up, do the work, and take care of everyone else. But underneath, you are running on empty. You are trapped in your head, paralyzed by guilt, or carrying a quiet shame that says you are constantly failing. Some days, the raw grief of what you’ve lost, or never had, feels completely overwhelming. You say "I’m fine" because explaining the heaviness takes more energy than you have left. It is exhausting to perform wellness when you feel this lonely. You don’t need a perfect script to start therapy. You can show up confused, angry, numb, or completely empty. I won't treat you like a problem to be solved or ask “What is wrong with me?” Instead, we will look at what you have been carrying alone. Your anxiety, numbness, and urge to please others are not defects. They are survival strategies you built to stay safe when the world felt too loud or rejecting. They made sense once. But you don't have to live in survival mode forever. In this space, you can finally stop pretending. You don’t have to make your pain sound reasonable, and you don’t have to protect me from your emotions. Using trauma-informed therapy, we will look at what is happening in your mind and body right now, so you can start choosing your life instead of just reacting to it. You don’t have to wait until you break to ask for help. You deserve a place to put it all down, take a breath, and finally come home to yourself. Reach out if you are ready! My Therapeutic Approach I utilise a combination of compassionate Inquiry and Gestalt psychotherapy approach, together with nervous system regulation practices that focuses on how the client makes contact with the world in the here and now and what unfinished business from the past is still blocking and interfering with the fulfillment of the present life, emphasising shadow work, psycho-somatic exercises, and trauma-informed care. I support clients in overcoming anxiety by bridging the gap between awareness of their current situation and embodiment of who they are becoming. Through real presence, somatic exercises, and the regulation of the nervous system, we work to release trapped emotions in your body that contribute to repetitive patterns and bring into light limiting beliefs that hinder your life. I take you through a journey of dismantling the old limitations in your system, which opens you up to a lighter and freer version of you, who is able to open up to the present opportunities and possibilities that you would be previously unaware of, due to being stuck in past-influenced perceptions.
