I am a psychotherapist focusing on proven counseling and psychotherapy techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, etc. I also do life coaching with regards to relationships, the self, and financial/business as I am also a financial planner and Master of Business Administration graduate. We give 15-minute introductory calls to everyone inquiring regarding our services for FREE. This is done prior to us doing any therapy/counseling. Also, you will fill up and read an INTRODUCTORY FORM where you can read about the general clauses and to affix your signature then state the concerns briefly. This is done as soon as payment is done.

Please read the following clauses below:
1.) Confidentiality and Data Privacy Clause: All information regarding the counselee/client which s/he will disclose shall be uphold to the highest confidentiality standard. All the things discussed before (introductory call), during, and after the session (regardless if it is online or face-to-face) will stay between the professional and the client.
➢ Parental and Minor Clause: If the counselee is a minor (17 years old and below), the parents are strongly advised to be involved in the session, either during or after the session, guaranteeing parents for a 30-minute phone call or video conferencing meet after the counseling with their child is done. All appropriate steps will be discussed first with the child.
➢ Mental Disability Clause: If the counselee has mental or learning disabilities, the parents will be involved in the session, either during or after the session, guaranteeing parents for a 30-minute phone call or video conferencing meet after the counseling with their child is done.
➢ Booking for a Minor Clause: If a minor decides to book a session, the session shall be booked by his/her legal guardian, certifying that s/he is allowed to participate in this service.
2.) Informed Consent Clause: The client will be informed of the steps/activities which will be taken during the session. These include recording (notepad, screen record, notebook, audio, etc.), tests to be taken, and even assignments. The client has the right to withdraw from any of the aforementioned activities, regardless of reason/s.
3.) Client’s Well-being Clause: All procedures would be in respect to the best interest of client. The client can always decide what s/he thinks is best for him/her.
4.) Impartiality Clause: The professional would always consider the beliefs, practices, and customs of client. The professional, should, at all times, limit any prejudice, discrimination, social exclusivity, or stereotyping. The professional would always act to what is best for the client regardless of race, religion, organizational position, gender or sexual orientation (LGBTQIA+), child or partner-related beliefs (polygamy or monogamy, with child or child-free, etc.) political alliance, nationality, financial capabilities, class, medical conditions, and mental disabilities. Only the medical and/or mental faculties would be the topics of interest to the professional, while still practicing impartiality.
5.) Therapeutic Relationship Clause: The main goal of therapy and counseling is the therapeutic alliance between the professional and the counselee, thus, the relationship is for professional purposes only. No emotional involvement (ex. minimizing transference/countertransference) detrimental to the professional relationship shall be made.
6.) Record Keeping Clause: All records and information of the client shall be kept safe and free from any unauthorized disclosure by the professional. The following specific statements are as follows:
➢ Data Breach Clause: It is the client’s responsibility to uphold the confidentiality of his/her information. (Email, Print outs, Facebook Messenger, etc.) Any data breach on the client’s end without his/her knowledge is outside the professional’s responsibility. Please inform the professional regarding specific instructions (ex. not sending files or sending it on a later date or on a separate email, etc.)
➢ Law Enforcement Clause: Under extreme cases, if the professional was contacted by any law enforcement agency (MMDA, PDEA, NBI, PNP, Navy, Army, PCG, RTC, etc.) and was asked anything about the client (ex, drug use, abuse, trafficking, rape, negligence, murder, destruction of property, etc.), the professional can and shall only disclose nothing but the truth, (based from all the activities done during the sessions) thus testifying with the state.
7.) Cancellation and Rescheduling Clause: For cancellation or rescheduling, do this the soonest time possible, preferably 4 hours ahead of the time and day initially scheduled. If in case the professional is already in the location at the agreed time (for face-to-face) and the client reschedules, the session fee will not be credited for another schedule unless it is due to an emergency. The following specific statements are stated below:
➢ Reschedule Due to Emergency: For emergencies, the client shall provide proofs so that the professional may be able to reconsider. The client shall give the professional the transportation /gasoline fees + disruption/disturbance fee to be agreed upon.
➢ Reschedule of the Professional: The professional may only reschedule due to the following situations: family-related (birthdays, child events, etc.), sickness/accidents, events/conventions, or emergencies (life and death, suicide-related).
➢ Reschedule Due to Other Reasons: The client/professional, if deemed unfit to participate in the session (mentally, physically or due to internet instability or traffic conditions), shall let the other party know about the adjustments and agree accordingly.
➢ Calendly Link: The Calendly pre-schedule shall be first agreed upon by both parties, thus it is yet, final. Duly take note that the Calendly scheduler is not real-time (as it is also being edited and monitored by the Secretary). Schedules may vary, depending on who got the schedule first or what event is needed to be attended to. Also, whoever paid first for the specific time and date will be prioritized to the said schedule.
➢ Late Online or Face-to-face: If the professional is already in the meeting link or location (fees applies for face-to-face), the client has a 15-minute grace period before the professional reschedules the session to the next available schedule. The session period will be adjusted accordingly or may be credited to the next session, depending on the volume of counselees on that day. If in case the professional is late, the session period will also be adjusted accordingly or be credited to the next session.
➢ Reschedule Online: The client shall be responsible in informing the professional about the changes in schedule (preferably 4 hours prior). If the professional is already in the meeting room and the client reschedules (within grace period), the professional shall deduct the time that has elapsed onto the next session.
8.) Session Period Clause: Each session lasts around ninety minutes long (90 minutes or 1 hour, 30 minutes). The recommended number of sessions is five for a more comprehensive and better understanding of the client’s situation. It may go beyond five sessions if deemed necessary.
➢ Online or Face-to-Face: Online platforms are preferred during the pandemic. For home, clinic or site visitations, protocols should still be followed, and other charges may apply.
9.) Session Format Clause: Sessions could be individual, couple/family, or group/corporate. Certain adjustments on fees will apply depending on the difficulty, activities to be done, mediums to be used, number of participants, etc.
➢ For individuals, standard charges apply. Time beyond the ninety minute mark shall be charged accordingly by the professional.
➢ For couples and families, certain charges on top of the standard charges apply.
➢ For group sessions or corporate seminars/group dynamics, certain arrangements shall be made and materials (as assigned by the professional) shall be provided by the client company. Certain additional charges (gas, food, accommodation) shall apply.
10.) Professional Boards Clause: All services provided by the professional are in accordance with the rules and governance of the professional and ethical boards of where the training, certifications, licenses, and knowledge being applied were received. The following bodies are as follows:
