The Primary Health Care Corporation runs its psychology service at a small number of named health centres. Its integrated psychiatry service, staffed by hospital consultants, runs at a few more. Both are reached on a family physician referral rather than by walking in.

Registration and licensing
Qatar licenses its health practitioners through one national authority, the Department of Healthcare Professions at the Ministry of Public Health. Clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and psychiatrists all fall under it, so a single licensing question covers the titles a Qatari listing is most likely to carry.
The registry records the department as the sole licensing authority in the state, which makes the licence itself the right thing to ask a practitioner about. You can start from the Department of Healthcare Professions practitioner search.
The Department of Healthcare Professions licenses clinical psychologist and psychological counsellor as separate scopes of practice. A psychological counsellor may not do independent psychological testing, and does not provide care in severe mental illness or psychiatric emergencies.
