Albania's statutory body for psychology is the Order of Psychologists of Albania. Registration with the Order is legally required in order to practise as a psychologist, so it is not optional and a practitioner using the title should be able to point to their standing with it. Asking about that registration is a reasonable question rather than a suspicious one.
For a counselling or psychotherapy title held outside psychology, the Order's list is not the check that answers. Verify with Order of Psychologists of Albania (UPSH).
