Ms Amy de Wet

Licensed Educational Psychologist

It is my honour to work with each individual and offer them a safe space to find their way through the healing process, sitting with them in the dark, and creating a sense of validation and containment during this brave journey.

About Me

I am a Licensed Educational Psychologist in Randhart, Gauteng, South Africa. I help people affected by abuse, addiction, conduct problems, PTSD and suicidal thoughts through psychological assessment, counseling and psychotherapy.

Approach

I offer a steady, compassionate space where we move at a pace that feels manageable and honest, honouring your courage as we work. In Alberton and online in English, sessions for children, adolescents and adults are adjusted for age and attention—shorter, playful moments for little ones, longer reflective work for older clients. Therapy blends gentle conversation, play and assessment-driven interventions so you leave with small, practical steps to try between meetings. This way of working often helps people navigating trauma, conduct struggles or overwhelming thoughts.
