Jennifer Poisson, MA

Psychotherapist (Registered)

I provide individual therapy and career counselling services to adults virtually throughout Ontario.

About Me

I work with adult clients (ages 17 and older) virtually across Ontario. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist (EMDRIA) and am additionally a Certified Career Development Practitioner. I can assist clients with a variety of needs, from clarifying career interests and values, to working through traumatic memories which are impacting functioning in the present.

Approach

My approach is to meet you where you are at. Every person has different needs and goals, and we are all at different starting points! Our first session or two would be for me to get to know you and understand what you want to work on, and how you would like things to be different in your life. From there, we would collaboratively develop a plan for therapy which could involve EMDR Therapy, Career Counselling, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and/or other modalities based on your needs.
