About Me

I am a registered psychotherapist practicing in Karachi East End, Central London and Winnipeg. I treat abuse, anxiety, grief, mood disorders and relationship issues related to divorce. I provide child psychological and diagnostic assessments, trauma counseling, general counseling and wellness support.

Approach

I use the Humanistic Integrative therapy approach which is a combination of Person-Centered, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, and a few elements of CBT.

This approach is non-directive but structured, empathic, non-judgmental, humanistic, compassionate. It offers clients a safe space to share whatever is in their hearts and mind. With this approach clients usually feel secure to reveal their real selves.

It helps clients to:

  • Gain self-confidence
  • Have a strong self-belief and self-concept
  • Enhance self-esteem
  • Lower anxiety or any other unsettling emotions
  • Live in the present moments
  • Locus on individual inner emotional and psychological process
  • Connect and heal trauma or distress related to childhood
  • Improve self-image and lower down self-critique
  • Strengthen inner validation and locus of evaluation
  • Become emotionally fit and independent

Maintaining the privacy of my client is my utmost priority. Moreover, I understand and accept my clients without any judgment which helps them to learn and gain inner validation and lower their critical voice. As per my past experience, I have noticed that my client's anxiety usually goes down after 5 to 6 sessions, if clients are coming regularly in therapy.

I provide online counseling sessions only. For online counseling, I use Zoom, Skype, or Whatsapp as my medium of communication.

If you are willing to take therapy from me you are required to sign a therapeutic agreement, that I will share via email or WhatsApp. Moreover, you need to submit a copy of your ID, passport size photo for your verification and fee online.
