Vessela Ivkova

Psychotherapist

I am a BACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist working with adults and young people.

About Me

I offer a confidential space for adults and young people to explore their thoughts and feelings. We can work together to understand challenges and find new ways forward. My aim is to help you gain clarity and build resilience, whatever you're facing. I believe in a collaborative approach, tailoring our sessions to your unique needs. This creates a supportive environment for personal growth.

Approach

Sessions are paced to your needs, offering gentle reflection alongside practical steps so you can make sense of difficult experiences and strengthen resilience. I offer face-to-face work in Edinburgh and online, and I can use English or Bulgarian to help bridge cultural and language gaps that often shape how pain shows up. We focus on noticing patterns from trauma, grief or relocation, grounding reactions in the body, and practicing small changes between sessions to keep progress steady. This approach suits adolescents and adults seeking a clear, compassionate route forward.
