Dr Tina Stromsted

Jungian Analyst

A warm, interactive Jungian Psychoanalyst, Board Certified Dance therapist, and Somatics educator with 40 years of clinical experience.

About Me

My warm, interactive approach guides individuals to explore their inner landscapes. Drawing on 40 years' experience, I blend Jungian insights with body-centred practices like authentic movement. This holistic method helps clients uncover deeper wisdom. It is ideal for those seeking more than talk therapy. We connect with emotions and patterns held within the body. This fosters profound self-discovery and lasting change.

Approach

Warmth and movement shape how I hold the room, inviting images, bodily sensations and dream material to speak alongside words. In my San Francisco office, conducting sessions in English, we alternate calm verbal exploration with guided, gentle somatic experiments so insight can be felt as well as understood. Between sessions I sometimes offer movement prompts or dream journaling to deepen noticing of patterns around grief, relationships and life shifts. This way of working suits people seeking embodied clarity and lasting inner reorganization.
