Mr Joseph Tanti

Registered Psychotherapist

Trauma & domestic violence; LGBTIQ, Gender, identity & sexuality exploration; Relationship & marital issues. Educational & career guidance.

About Me

I support individuals and couples through complex challenges like trauma, domestic violence, and relationship issues. If you are exploring your LGBTIQ identity, gender, or sexuality, or seeking educational and career guidance, I offer a compassionate space. We can work together to make sense of your experiences, perhaps using creative methods. My aim is to help you find clarity and build resilience for a more confident path forward.

Approach

When addressing past harm, questions of gender or sexuality, or relational strain, sessions move at your pace while aiming for practical clarity and safety. I work from Santa Venera and online, offering spaces in English, Italian and Maltese that invite both conversation and creative exploration. Sessions blend focused dialogue with dramatherapy exercises, targeted assessment when helpful, and concrete planning or advocacy steps between meetings to support decisions and safety. This approach tends to suit adolescents, adults and couples seeking clear steps toward identity, relationship or career direction.
