Hi, I'm Suzy, a counsellor who helps adults find their footing when life shifts beneath them. For over 20 years, I've worked at the crossroads of change and pattern - helping you see what's been happening beneath the surface, so you can move forward with intention.

About Me

Major life changes have a way of shaking things loose. Whether it's a move, the end of a relationship, a shift in your career, a change in your family, or something harder to name - transition disrupts more than just your routine. It disrupts your sense of who you are. And it has a funny way of surfacing the patterns you thought you'd left behind. For over 20 years I've specialised in helping adults navigate life's turning points - while untangling the old rhythms that keep tripping them up. I've sat with people in the messy middle of change: the excitement, the grief, the confusion, the "what am I doing?" moments. I understand that transition isn't a problem to be solved; it's a process to be moved through. And the patterns you bring into it? They're not obstacles. They're information. I offer a grounded, steady presence during the chaos. My work is collaborative, practical, and paced to your needs. We won't just process what's happening - we'll look underneath it, see what's driving your reactions, and build a roadmap for who you're becoming. Why Work With Me: Two decades of experience means I've seen a lot. I'm not fazed by the messy, complicated, contradictory feelings that come with change. I'm direct when it helps, gentle when you need it, and always practical. I won't just help you manage the transition. I'll help you see the patterns that have been running beneath the surface—the ones that show up in every relationship, every job, every chapter of your life. Because until you see them, they'll keep following you wherever you go. Let's Talk: If you're in the middle of a big change and feeling unmoored—or if you keep arriving at the same crossroads no matter which road you take—reach out. I offer a free 20-minute introductory call to explore how we might work together. Sessions in English, online or in-person at my office in Central Hong Kong.

Approach

Transitions crack us open. My job is to make sure what falls out is something you can work with - not something that buries you. I bring a trauma-informed lens to every session, but I keep my feet firmly in the practical. We'll use ACT to clarify what matters to you now, solution-focused techniques to build momentum, and I bring Somatic Experiencing (intermediate level) to help your body keep up with the changes - because patterns live in the nervous system, not just the mind. As a Certified Grief Educator, I also bring specialised compassion to the losses that often accompany transition - the old self, the old life, the old certainties. The goal isn't just to get through the change. It's to come out the other side with a clearer sense of who you are - and why you do what you do.
