CBT and career counseling in online sessions & face to face meetings.

Approach

Facing anxiety, relationship strain or career change, I structure therapy around clear, doable steps and short experiments you can try between sessions. From my Herzliya office or via online meetings I offer work in English, Hebrew, Russian and Ukrainian, keeping sessions focused, time-limited and paced to your needs. We identify patterns, test unhelpful thoughts, practice alternative responses and use grounding or imagery when memories or intense feelings arise, adjusting methods gently over time. People who want practical, steady progress tend to find this helpful.

Basic Information

Services

Individual Therapy I’m Sofiya Valshonok, a psychotherapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and integrative approaches such as mindfulness, EMDR, therapeutic games and various body and soul relaxation techniques. I provide individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, helping them overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, trauma, stress, and emotional difficulties. My approach is practical and results-oriented — I focus on giving clients effective tools to create real change and maintain emotional balance independently after therapy ends. Sessions are available in Herzliya and online via Zoom, in Hebrew, English, and Russian. Couples and Family Therapy & Sex Therapy In my work with couples and families, I help partners improve communication, strengthen emotional and physical intimacy, and rebuild trust. I also offer sex therapy for individuals and couples who wish to address issues related to desire, performance anxiety, or relationship dynamics. My goal is to create a safe, open space where both partners can express themselves, understand each other’s needs, and build a deeper, more fulfilling connection.
