I hold credentials from Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body(CPCAB) as an integrative practitioner as well as Supervisor. I have been in private practice for over 10years where I work with individuals aged 10years and above.My work includes individual, family and couple therapy utilizing theories from behavioral and psychodynamic school of thought. My prime focus is on areas such as addiction, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, trauma, Grief and loss,marital disturbances, anger management, self-esteem issues. I also serve as a group therapy facilitator and has successfully worked with several groups.
As a counselor, I apply an integrative model of humanistic and psychodynamic approach in my work being tailor made to meet each client's individual needs. I support my clients in recovering from codependency and work with symptoms like physical, emotional and sexual abuse, relationships issues, shame and fear.
I use a variety of theraputic techniques based on my clients needs such as inner child work,relational work and art exercises. My main area of work is Somatic/phenomenological experiencing and Felt sense (body mind work) and activities on mindfulness. This helps
