Ms Sarah Rollins

Social Worker (Mental Health)

An empathetic, strength based therapist specializing in trauma and axiety using Somatic Experiencing, EMDR and IFS and other approaches.

About Me

I support individuals navigating trauma, mental health challenges, and addiction, drawing on an empathetic, strength-based approach. Using Somatic Experiencing, I help you explore how past experiences impact your present well-being. This gentle, body-centred work helps release stored tension, fostering calm and resilience. You will find a welcoming space to rediscover inner strengths and build effective coping strategies for daily life.

Approach

Healing unfolds through attuned, paced work that couples calming the nervous system with curious exploration of the parts of you that hold difficult memories. In sessions in Southfield, Michigan or via secure online meetings, I track sensations, invite gentle movement or breath, and use focused processing to allow stuck moments to shift without rushing you. Between sessions we set clear, manageable experiments to practice safety and notice change in daily life. This way of working tends to suit adults seeking steady, embodied relief from anxiety, trauma, or mood struggles.
