Ms Sally O'Reilly

Counseling Psychologist

Psychotherapist, psychologist & clinical supervisor with 20 years' full time experience in private practice. Special interest in teens .

About Me

I offer a supportive space for teenagers navigating life's complexities. Drawing on 20 years of full-time private practice, I understand the unique challenges young people face. We work collaboratively to understand feelings and build practical coping skills for daily life. My aim is to help teens gain confidence and find clear paths forward. Clients value this deeply experienced, understanding approach.

Approach

Twenty years of full-time practice shape how I hold sessions: steady, paced to each teen’s comfort, and focused on small, practical steps we can try between appointments. In Cork and online in English, I aim for clear check-ins, short experiments to shift thinking or behaviour, and careful attention to safety and consent when working with trauma or sexual concerns. Supervision and shared reflection are woven into longer-term plans so progress feels supported. This way suits young people who want warmth plus practical, doable change.
