Dr Sally Farrar

Psychologist

I am an experienced English-speaking Psychologist based in Amsterdam. I trained in the UK and I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I offer one-to-one psychological therapy for adults in relation to a broad range of concerns. Please get in touch to discuss further.

About Me

I offer a safe space for adults in Amsterdam to explore a wide array of life's challenges. As a UK-trained and HCPC-registered Psychologist, I provide one-to-one therapy. I guide you to understand your experiences and develop practical ways forward. We can work together to make sense of your concerns, helping you find clarity and resilience. My aim is to support you in navigating difficulties with confidence.

Approach

We begin by listening to your story and then move into practical, collaborative steps that clarify what you're facing. Sessions in English, in Amsterdam or online, are paced to suit you, with space for reflection and simple tasks between meetings. Together we use assessment-informed therapy to uncover patterns, process traumatic or chronic health-related distress, and build coping strategies you can use day to day. This way of working often helps adults managing anxiety, life transitions or relocation.
