I help individuals and couples work through complex trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship struggles, and questions of self and identity. My approach is psychoanalytic, helping you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and create meaningful change.

About Me

I’m a Clinical Psychologist specialising in complex trauma and relational difficulties, who works with individuals and couples navigating trauma, attachment wounds, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, and questions of self and identity. Working with me is warm, collaborative, and deeply human. I create a space where you can slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and make sense of patterns rather than simply learning to “cope” with them. My work is grounded in psychoanalysis with the belief that therapy is not about fixing who you are, but helping you build a more connected relationship with yourself and others.

Approach

I believe therapy is about understanding yourself more deeply, your emotions, relationships, patterns, and the experiences that have shaped the way you see yourself and the world. My approach is grounded in psychoanalytic thinking and informed by trauma perspectives. Together, we explore what may be happening beneath the surface: why certain situations affect you so deeply, why you may find yourself repeating patterns you want to change, and how earlier experiences may continue to shape your relationships with yourself and others. Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I won’t simply tell you what to do or give you a list of strategies to fix the problem. Instead, I offer a space where we can slow down, become curious about your experiences, and make sense of them together. The aim is not to “fix” you. It is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, feel more connected to your emotions and needs, and gradually create more freedom in how you relate to yourself, others, and your life.

Services

Complex Trauma I work with individuals who have experienced complex or repeated trauma and may be living with its lasting effects. Emotional overwhelm, difficulty trusting, struggles with boundaries, shame, relationship patterns, disconnection from oneself, or feeling constantly on guard. Therapy focuses on understanding how these experiences have shaped you, creating safety and emotional awareness, and gradually developing a greater sense of agency, connection, and freedom. Couples Therapy I work with couples who feel stuck in recurring conflicts, emotional distance, communication difficulties, or patterns that seem impossible to break. Rather than focusing only on who is right or wrong, we look at the relationship beneath the conflict, understanding each partner’s needs, vulnerabilities, attachment patterns, and the cycle they have become caught in. The goal is to help couples understand one another more deeply and build a relationship that feels safer, more connected, and more emotionally responsive.
