Mrs Riekie Coetsee

Registered Counselor

I am well equipped to deal with all traumas and/or life changing incidents and have passion for what I do.

About Me

I am a Registered Counselor in La Montagne, Gauteng, South Africa. I provide psychological and diagnostic assessments, consultations, and counseling for abuse, adolescent issues, grief, HIV/AIDS support, and trauma. I offer direct, nonjudgmental support and practical coping skills to clients seeking clear, workable steps.

Approach

When life changes by trauma or loss I hold sessions that are steady, focused and practical, moving at a pace you can manage. In my Pretoria consulting room I work in Afrikaans and English, creating a calm space where assessment and conversation reveal what’s needed next. We use short, doable steps between meetings—skill practice, reflections and safety planning—so progress feels tangible. This way often helps adolescents, adults and families facing abuse, grief, dementia-related strain or HIV-related challenges.
