Hi! I'm Dr. Khanna, an internationally trained, culturally sensitive counseling psychologist. I work with adults across the lifespan, helping them learn about themselves and make meaningful changes towards living authentically. Our relationship is central to the work I do. Contact me to see how I can best support you.

About Me

I am a counseling psychologist in Mumbai, India who helps adults navigate life transitions, grief and loss, cross-cultural adjustment, relocation, and identity issues. I offer individual and group therapy, and clinical supervision to help you gain clarity on the kind of life you want to live, both personally and professionally. My approach includes sensitivity to cultural context, identity, value systems and a humanistic/person-centered lens.

Approach

The foundation of my work lies predominantly in relational and multicultural approaches. I believe that my relationship with another individual is central and fundamental to my capacity to influence meaningful change within them. Each individual's process of healing and transformation can look and feel different. Wherever you are in your journey, I am here to support that process which can sometimes feel uncomfortable and even painful. My goal is to collaborate with you as you gradually evaluate and re-evaluate your life, clarify your life choices and goals and be able to use your voice for your self-enhancement. My theoretical approach includes person-centered, cognitive and mindfulness-based interventions such as acceptance and commitment therapy, developmental and attachment theory, techniques of which I employ within a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive framework.
