Ms Pallavi Roy, BA

Psychotherapist

In my practice, I invite clients who are open to long-term psychotherapy, as this allows us to explore your inner world at a pace that feels right for you. This commitment helps us move beyond surface level coping and explore the deeper patterns, emotions, core beliefs and experiences that shape your life, create sustainable changes and navigate the complexities of life with continuous support. If you’re ready to take this journey, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

About Me

I am a practicing counseling psychologist and psychotherapist with over 7.5 years of experience. My therapeutic approach is integrative, blending insight-oriented, experiential, relational, and integrative modalities to create a thoughtful and supportive therapeutic space. My work is trauma-informed, queer-affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, and grounded in inclusivity and intersectionality. My therapeutic practice is also informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), incorporating parts work to help clients develop a deeper and more compassionate understanding of their inner world. In addition, I integrate somatic and body-based practices when appropriate, helping clients become more aware of how emotions, stress, and past experiences may be held in the body. These approaches also support greater nervous system awareness, regulation, and overall well-being.

Approach

Therapy blends gentle curiosity with active, experience-based steps that help you notice patterns, name feelings, and experiment with new ways of relating. We focus on relationships, grief, anxiety and trauma through reflective dialogue, somatic attention and practical between-session reflections so change feels embodied and steady.
