Registered Clinical Psychologist

Evidence-based clinical practice directed by an AHPRA Registered Psychologist (Australia).

About Me

Clinical Profile & Transnational Experience: My clinical and research framework is built upon international practice across Australia, the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Having operated within psychiatric hospitals, community mental health networks, NGOs, and corporate environments, I utilize a disciplined Biopsychosocial Healthcare Model to formulate cases. This approach ensures that an individual's psychological presentation is never viewed in isolation, but analyzed through intersecting biological predispositions, cognitive structures, and systemic environmental factors. Intersectional Framework: My doctoral research and clinical practice focus heavily on the intersectionality of race, multiculturalism, identity configuration, and relational trauma. I specialize in assisting clients to deconstruct complex systemic stressors, manage deep-seated defense mechanisms, and establish sustainable behavioral autonomy without relying on superficial, short-term symptom reduction.

Approach

Every treatment protocol at MD Psychology is derived from standardized, empirically validated manuals. My clinical training includes specific, accredited competencies from leading global research institutions: ── Transdiagnostic Emotional Disorders: Unified Protocol (UP) | Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders at Boston University, USA. ── Trauma-Focused Interventions: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) | Medical University of South Carolina, USA. ── Complex Relational Trauma: STAIR Narrative Therapy | National Center for PTSD, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, USA. ── Eating Disorders & Pathology: Enhanced Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT-E) | University of Oxford, UK. ── Clinical Insomnia & Sleep Disorders: Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) | Australasian Sleep Association, Australia. ── Cognitive & Mindfulness Integration: Integrated CBT & Mindfulness | Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, USA. ── Clinical Behavior Change: Motivational Interviewing (MI) | University of Missouri-Kansas City, USA.

Services

── Mandatory Clinical Intake (150 Minutes): To ensure diagnostic precision, all new clinical trajectories must initiate with a comprehensive, 150-minute formal evaluation. This session serves to map out longitudinal case history, identify systemic behavioral boundaries, and construct your individualized intervention formulation. ── Direct-Pay Modality: MD Psychology operates an independent, direct-pay model outside of third-party commercial insurance networks. This architecture is maintained strictly to guard your absolute medical privacy and ensure clinical decisions are dictated solely by empirical need, not corporate insurance limits. ── Cross-Border Telehealth Infrastructure: Online sessions are conducted exclusively over enterprise-grade, end-to-end encrypted platforms within dedicated, acoustically isolated clinical spaces, conforming directly to Australian (Privacy Act 1988) and Vietnamese (Law 91/2025/QH15) data security parameters.
