Dr Meyleen Velasquez

Psychotherapist

Specialized care for women experiencing pregnancy/postpartum stress, adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship conflict & grief

About Me

I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist based in Everett, Washington. I treat abuse, trauma, grief, and fertility-related distress across the lifespan. I offer child and adolescent therapy, adoption counseling, and online sessions.

Approach

Supporting people through perinatal transitions, grief, anxiety and relationship strain looks like steady, practical sessions where I listen for what’s not yet being said and help you name patterns that keep you stuck. In Everett I offer meetings in English or Spanish and online; sessions move at a pace you can tolerate, with check-ins, reflection and brief between-session experiments to try new ways of relating or coping. My work is collaborative and exploratory, often quiet and focused, and tends to help those wanting thoughtful, manageable change.

Services

As far as the world knows, you're okay. You have tried to "get over it," to "just feel better," to "move on" but nothing seems to work. You are not exactly sure how you got to this point or how to get out. Everyday you say that it will be different only to watch the hours go by & to end up feeling a bit worst than the day before.

Imagine feeling connected to yourself, friends, loved ones and/or children without all the other pressures. I can help you get there.
