Ms Maya Patrizia Gagni

Psychotherapist

Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist, EMDR Accredited practitioner, Couple Counsellor, Dramatherapist and Equine Facilitated Psychotherapist.

About Me

I help individuals and couples navigate life's challenges, offering a range of approaches tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're exploring relationship dynamics or processing past experiences, we can find a path that feels right. This might involve creative dramatherapy, or gaining insights through connecting with horses. For trauma, I also provide EMDR. My aim is to support you in finding clarity and building practical ways to move forward.

Approach

Training across EMDR, dramatherapy and equine-facilitated practice shapes how I move between somatic, creative and conversational ways of working so the process fits you. I offer sessions in Sutton in Ashfield, online, and in Italian when helpful, keeping the pace steady and predictable and adjusting to what feels manageable. Sessions often combine grounding, brief processing and experiential exercises, then we reflect and agree small practical steps to try between meetings. This approach tends to suit people seeking embodied, practical change alongside emotional clarity.
