Hi, if you’ve found your way here, something within you may be asking for care.. to be heard, understood, and truly seen. Perhaps life has placed something in your path, and you don’t want to face it alone. As a Counsellor offering both online and in-person sessions, I am committed to creating a safe, supportive space where you can explore your experiences, process your feelings, and grow.

About Me

I am Mariah, a Warranted Counsellor working with clients seeking a space for awareness, processing & growth. Over the years, I’ve worked across mental health services, offender rehabilitation, disability services as well as with children in educational environments. I currently work closely with individuals and couples facing fertility challenges or undergoing fertility treatment, a journey that can feel isolating and emotionally complex. I’m also deeply drawn to movement and creative expression as pathways to healing. Sometimes words aren’t enough.. and the body, art or movement can open doors that conversation alone cannot.

Approach

At times, something within us longs for care — to be heard, acknowledged, and truly seen. Perhaps you’re holding more than others can see, carrying it quietly on your own. The one who keeps going.. even when you’re overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or unsure who you are anymore. Or maybe something shifted.. a loss, a transition, a relationship, a question you can’t ignore anymore and you don’t want to face it alone. In our work together, we slow down. We gently explore the emotions, thinking patterns, and behaviours that are affecting you or have shaped you.. often patterns that once helped you survive or protect yourself. When these patterns no longer serve you, we don’t judge them. We become curious about them. From that place of understanding, we begin to explore new perspectives, strengthen emotional awareness, develop healthier coping strategies, and practice ways of relating with yourself and those around you. My intention is to help you reconnect with your true self and move toward meaningful change.
