Services
Is a critical voice in your head questioning your abilities? Are you struggling with friendships or family issues? Do you find yourself overwhelmed with grief after the loss of a loved one? Life presents challenges which can often be navigated with the help of friends and family. However, there are times when we may feel overwhelmed. I provide a fresh perspective with a warm, non-judgemental, empathic approach, working together to find ways to help you process and move forward. Similarly, you don't need to be in a crisis to benefit from therapy. It can help you put words to any general feelings of dissatisfaction experienced.
I have extensive experience working with stress, anxiety and depression, with a particular interest in issues arising from life transitions/dealing with change. Building awareness of how anxiety may distort reality and instill self-limiting beliefs, we can look at challenging negative thoughts, set small goals and practice self-compassion to face your fears.
The first step towards asking for help can be difficult. If you are reading this, you are already on the path to change. Together, we will look at what is going on for you now. We will explore how events and emotions in the past have influenced your feelings and behaviour. This will give us a better understanding of your current needs and how to meet them.
