Licensed Clinical Social Workers

About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in San Francisco, California. I treat anxiety, life transitions, divorce, stress, and family issues. I provide psychotherapy, online therapy, and clinical supervision in a direct, practical style.

Approach

We all face challenges in our lives and sometimes need some extra help and support to help us overcome them. My approach is non-judgmental and focuses on accessing and building up your inherent strengths. I will partner with you in working toward your goals and to help you navigate through blind spots and areas of difficulty.

I have experience working with people of all ages and in a variety of settings. I have worked in eating disorder, mental health and addiction programs, providing individual and group therapy. I also completed a Post-Masters Fellowship at UC Berkeley, where I worked with young adults struggling with self-esteem, relationships, addiction, academics, pregnancy, medical illness, eating, body image, career and stage of life issues. As such, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, individualized to your specific situation.

This year I am honored to be the recipient of the 2018 San Francisco Award for Counseling & Mental Health.

Basic Information

Services

TELETHERAPY

While not the traditional model, online therapy is becoming increasingly more popular. I practice predominantly through videoconferencing, allowing you to participate in your sessions from the comfort and privacy of your own home or office. Sessions function the same way as in-person therapy but without the added time and cost of traveling to a therapist's office.

*Due to licensing requirements, clients must reside in the state of California

CLINICAL SUPERVISION

One of the benefits of being at this stage of my career is the ability to share my knowledge with others. With experience in program development, directing and management; I truly enjoy the administrative and training aspects of behavioral health. I maintain the BBS requirements for supervising ASW, MFTi and LPCis.
Similar to my clinical style, my supervision approach is highly collaborative. Together we will explore clinical and ethical issues in counseling and work together to identify areas for growth.

I offer Supervision for Individuals and Groups.
