Linda

Mrs Linda Henderson

Counselor

I am a fully qualified and experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering short and long term therapy face to face, securely online or over the phone. I have lived and counselling experience of Autism Spectrum Condition and knowledge and experience of counselling those living with Multiple Sclerosis.

About Me

I offer short and long-term therapy, available face-to-face, securely online, or by phone. My lived and Counseling experience of Autism Spectrum Condition allows me to deeply understand neurodivergent experiences. I also have extensive knowledge of supporting those living with Multiple Sclerosis. Individuals navigating these specific challenges will find a compassionate and understanding space to explore their unique journey.

Approach

You’ll find sessions paced around your practical needs and sensory comfort, combining clear structure with gentle curiosity to explore autistic traits, fluctuating energy and the emotional impact of chronic illness. Whether in my Plymouth room or securely online, I use focused listening, reflective summaries and tailor simple mindfulness practices, agreeing manageable tasks between meetings to respect fatigue. I help clients prepare for appointments, request reasonable adjustments and practise communication strategies so daily life feels more manageable. This way of working suits adults and older clients seeking pragmatic, empathetic support.
