I help young Indian adults living in India and abroad when everything looks fine on the outside, but doesn’t feel that way inside! We co-create a space of therapy to navigate through guilt, people-pleasing, and learning to slow down without fear.. Culturally sensitive, trauma-informed therapy for Indian young adults all across the globe (25-40 years)

About Me

I specialize in working with young Indian adults navigating adulthood: life in a different country, balancing cultures, managing family expectations, career pressure, relationships, and unspoken emotional pain. On the outside, they appear functional: eating right, working out, building a career, and staying strong through it all, however..... On the inside, they often feel anxious, disconnected, or like they’re carrying more than they can acknowledge. They struggle with setting boundaries without feeling guilty, anxious, scared of losing everything, and often ask themselves.. "Why do I not feel fine when I have almost everything I wanted? As a trauma-informed psychologist, I help them to understand how past experiences & cultural conditioning have shaped a lot of concerns they are struggling with, regulate their nervous systems, build healthier boundaries with self & others, and reconnect with themselves. Our work can help you slow down while working through your guilt, prioritize intentional rest, set boundaries without abandoning yourself, and genuinely hold space for yourself & your feelings. My approach is integrative, holistic, and culturally sensitive. I blend in evidence-based practices with somatic and tapping techniques. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you or rushing or overwhelming you with insights. It’s about creating enough safety to slow down, listen inward and begin responding to life from choice rather than survival. 🎓 I hold an M.Sc. in Applied Psychology from CU and bring over 5+ years of experience working across therapy, mental health, and wellbeing of indian young adults aged between 25-40 years of age. I am also trained in Clinical EFT from EFTMRA India 🧠 I currently offer: • Online therapy for Indian young adults globally (25-40 years) • Offline therapy sessions in Kolkata If you’re feeling ready to explore therapy, not as a last resort, but as an intentional space for deeper work, you’re welcome to reach out. Whether you're healing from past wounds, navigating identity conflicts, or seeking clarity in relationships or career, I offer a space that is safe, reflective, and deeply collaborative. 📩 Reach out if you’re ready to begin your therapy journey. 💌 Email: genztherapists@gmail.com 📱 IG: https://www.instagram.com/genz_therapist

Basic Information

Services

I support Indian adults (25-40 years) across the globe who feel emotionally overwhelmed despite appearing high-functioning. Common concerns include anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, overthinking, and difficulty slowing down or resting without guilt. My work often includes exploring people-pleasing patterns, low self-worth, perfectionism, and challenges with setting boundaries—especially within family, work, and close relationships. I help clients navigate relationship concerns, attachment patterns, emotional intimacy, and recurring relational cycles. I also work with identity-related struggles linked to cultural expectations, migration, and belonging, as well as life transitions such as moving countries, early career pressure, and shifts in adulthood roles. Many clients I work with carry unresolved relational or developmental trauma, grief, or past emotional experiences that continue to impact their nervous system, self-trust, and sense of safety. Therapy focuses on regulation, self-connection, and building a more compassionate relationship with oneself.
