Clinical Psychologist

I provide short-term, brain-based therapy for high-functioning adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, phobias and performance anxiety. My approach is structured and focused on shifting the cognitive patterns that keep distress in place. My goal is to help clients reduce symptoms effectively, in order to return to normal functioning and lead more fulfilling lives.

About Me

I became a clinical psychologist because I value helping people find their way through periods when life feels overwhelming or stuck. I understand how isolating it can be when emotions, stress or major life changes begin to take over, and I aim to offer a space that feels steady, focused and conducive to meaningful change. I work with high-functioning adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, phobias and performance anxiety. Furthermore, I have a special interest in the emotional aspects of infertility and postpartum well-being.

Approach

I am a Certified Practitioner in BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT). My approach to is structured, focused and short-term with a clear emphasis on identifying and targeting the patterns that drive distress. Sessions are purposeful and goal-oriented, working to reduce symptoms such as anxiety, low mood and intrusive thoughts so clients can function more freely in their daily lives. The process is efficient and collaborative, aimed at helping clients experience relief and move forward with greater ease and a stronger sense of control. My goal is to equip clients with the tools they need to lead more fulfilling, meaningful lives. BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT), is a model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. It's a totally confidential method that doesn't require you to reveal your private information or personal secrets to your therapist and is carried out in a completely conscious state. It doesn’t use hypnosis or any mystical concepts- it’s completely logical, practical and down-to-earth. It only requires you to know what you want to change in your life, for it to be completely successful. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code. Find out more at http://www.bwrt.org.
