Julie Sherman

Counselor

An experienced integrative counsellor working with adult individuals and couples on a wide-range of issues. In addition I have specific additional training and experience in working with people experiencing infertility, miscarriage, and wider perinatal issues, as well as those struggling with life transitions.

About Me

I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor based in Surrey, UK, and a registered member of both the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA). I chose to retrain as a counsellor, following successful careers in the travel industry and the voluntary sector, having personally experienced the benefits of counselling.

Approach

As an integratively-trained therapist, I employ a variety of theoretical approaches and techniques. However, my starting point is always person-centred, focusing on creating a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space and building a trusting relationship so that we can work together to explore any issues you may be experiencing.
