Mr Jeffrey K Jenkins

Counselor

Therapist working with First Responders, Military, Veterans et al in PTSD, Depression, Trauma, Grief, Anger Management, & Anxiety.

About Me

I support first responders, military personnel, and veterans as they navigate the profound impacts of trauma, grief, and anxiety. These experiences can deeply affect daily life. I understand the unique challenges faced by those who serve. We can explore tailored strategies, including EMDR, to process difficult memories and find pathways to healing. My aim is to help you build resilience and reclaim a sense of calm and control.

Approach

Working alongside those who serve, I keep sessions grounded, paced to what feels safe while gently moving toward the memories and patterns that cause daily strain. In Henryetta or online, we use short, focused exercises, narrative work, and targeted processing so progress happens both in session and in practical steps you can try between meetings. I stay collaborative and direct—checking tolerance, adjusting pace, and building emotional and behavioral tools as we go. This approach often fits people seeking steady, practical relief and restored functioning.
