Ilanie

Ms Ilanie Kriel

Licensed Clinical Social Workers

I have a passion to work with individuals, couples and families in need of empowerment to face their challenges like depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, family difficulties, stress management and coping strategies.

About Me

I am passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life's challenges. When depression, anxiety, or relationship difficulties feel overwhelming, I offer a collaborative space. We can explore what’s happening and develop practical coping strategies. My goal is to help you build inner strength. You can then feel more equipped to face difficulties and move forward with confidence.

Approach

When low mood, anxiety or relational strain feel overwhelming, I focus on small, practical shifts that help you reclaim choice and routine. In Pretoria I offer sessions in English or Afrikaans and connect online when that better fits your life, keeping our meetings paced to what you can manage. Work often combines brief assessments, targeted coping experiments and advocacy around systems that affect you, with gentle homework between sessions to track change. This approach suits people seeking clear steps and steady support.
