Aranja Berkmüller

Counselor

Psychological and systemic counselor, trauma therapist & death doula. I counsel people who feel like they don't belong to the dominant, normative group. My clients are creatives, critical thinkers, psychonauts, kinksters, black sheep and people who experience marginalization such as queer, trans* or BiPOC folx.

About Me

I offer a warm, understanding space for those who feel outside the norm. As a psychological and systemic counselor, I support creatives, critical thinkers, and individuals experiencing marginalisation. We can explore how wider systems impact your sense of self and belonging. My trauma-informed approach helps navigate past hurts and build resilience. This space is for you to find your authentic path forward, feeling genuinely seen.

Approach

If thinking hasn’t brought change, I help you notice what the body, relationships and cultural stories are holding so shifts can land more fully. Sessions—in Bangkok or online, in English or German—move between gentle somatic practices, reflective conversation and practical tasks you can try between meetings, paced to your readiness. I attend to grief, transitions and identity with steady curiosity and clear boundaries, inviting methods that fit your life. This way often suits creatives, expats and anyone who’s felt out of step with usual therapy.
