Dr Gregory Mitchell is a clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience working with adults, adolescents and couples. He provides compassionate care for a range of psychological and life challenges including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and trauma.

About Me

I offer a compassionate space to understand and work through the weight of depression, anxiety, trauma, or any other mental health or life challenges. I have extensive experience assisting adults, adolescents, and couples in exploring complex emotions. I aim to help clients develop practical ways to manage challenges, fostering resilience and supporting them in building a more stable future.

Approach

I work from an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), and psychodynamic perspectives, and adapt my work to each client’s needs, personality, and goals. My practice combines evidence-based, skills-focused interventions with a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, providing a supportive and collaborative space in which clients can explore their experiences, develop insight, and address unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating. Depending on what is most clinically appropriate, therapy may be more structured or more exploratory, with the aim of fostering meaningful, sustainable change, greater self-understanding, and improved psychological wellbeing.
