Mr DeRoux Jones, MSc
Registered Psychotherapist
“If I am reaching you, it is likely because something feels heavy. Perhaps I am carrying grief that has not lifted. Perhaps my relationship is strained by resentment, distance, or repeated conflict. Perhaps anxiety, guilt, fear of failure, or a restless dissatisfaction is quietly shaping my decisions. Or perhaps I am outwardly successful but internally unsettled. I work with individuals and couples who are ready to face what is real. As a Registered Psychotherapist with advanced training in evidence-based interventions, I integrate approaches such as REBT, Schema Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and attachment-based frameworks. I help identify the belief systems, emotional patterns, and relational dynamics that keep distress in place — and then we systematically address them.”

About Me
Approach
My approach to psychotherapy is built on the understanding that real change happens when the root issues— distrust, doubt, uncertainty, fear, disordered desires, and the behaviours they generate — are identified, confronted, and transformed. I help clients move beyond surface symptoms to address the deeper patterns shaping their emotional and relational lives.
In practice, this means guiding clients to:
Recognize the internal narratives that fuel fear and insecurity
Replace doubt and uncertainty with clarity and grounded perspective
Understand how the pursuit of pleasure, possession, and pride creates emotional instability
Identify behavioural patterns that reinforce distress
Develop stronger internal leadership through truth, responsibility, and emotional maturity
Build resilience, confidence, and steadiness in daily life
My work is direct, supportive, structured, and change-oriented. I aim to strengthen the client’s “Healthy Adult” capacities—sound judgment, emotional balance, self-respect, and wise action—while reducing the influence of fear-driven or desire-driven patterns that keep them stuck.
