Deirdre Foley

Psychotherapist

I'm a fully accredited psychotherapist working extensively in person and online with adults of all ages and from diverse, multicultural backgrounds. My approach focuses on the exploration of the human narrative in the meaning making process, and the importance of applying neuroscience to therapy.

About Me

As an accredited psychotherapist, I provide a space for adults to explore their life stories. We gently connect your personal narrative to how you experience the world now. By integrating insights from neuroscience, we can understand how your brain processes events. This helps you make sense of your unique journey. I welcome adults from diverse backgrounds, ready to deepen their self-understanding, both online and in person.

Approach

From that gentle linking of past and present, therapy unfolds through attentive, practical work that helps clarify how patterns show up day to day. I work with adults in Co Tyrone and online, offering sessions in English and Greek, where we pace sessions to suit your needs—sometimes reflective, sometimes action-focused. We notice body signals, track behavioural patterns and use small experiments between sessions to test new ways of relating and self-care. People juggling identity, relationships or stress often find this grounded, embodied approach helpful.
