About Me

I am described by clients as warm, empathetic and grounded. I work holistically with the mind, body and spirit; recognising they are connected. For over 20 years I have supported a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds, and with a variety of issues. I have had roles in various capacities in local and national charities, organisations and NHS.

Approach

By practicing integratively and holistically, I blend elements from different counselling approaches to suit your individual needs as I believe there is no single method that is effective for each client in all situations. This may include looking at what is happening for you at the moment or inviting you to explore your past.

Basic Information

Services

I am one of very few qualified Counsellors in the UK with extensive experience, providing specialist grief counselling to anyone with an ambiguous loss. Ambiguous loss can encompass many types of loss; when a loved one suddenly disappears (eg. missing), remains out of reach (eg. immigration or divorce) or is lost psychologically (eg. dementia or mental illness). I also offer EFT Tapping for any issue.
