Ms Brenny Maruma

Counseling Psychologist

I am a compassionate and warm counselling psychologist with sensitivity to diversity and context or various settings, and therefore, my interventions are appropriately selected to honour my clients' needs.

About Me

I offer a warm, safe space where your unique story is truly heard. As a Counseling psychologist, I understand that your background and experiences shape your path. We will explore your concerns together, carefully selecting approaches that fit your specific needs and context. This ensures our work feels relevant and respectful. I aim to help you navigate challenges and find a way forward that feels right for you.

Approach

Sessions unfold at a steady, collaborative pace, attentive to your cultural context and personal timing. I meet clients in Ekurhuleni or via secure online sessions, and I work in English and Sesotho sa Leboa so communication feels natural. In-session we notice patterns, practise grounding and clearer communication, and translate insights into small, practical steps between meetings; with adolescents I weave assessment feedback into planning sensitively. Those facing transitions, grief, burnout or relationship strain often find this focused, respectful rhythm helpful.
