I am a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a BACP registered Psychotherapist in the UK. My clinical experience spans many years of working with people with a variety of difficulties, traumas, cultural background and sexual orientations.

About Me

I practice as a registered psychotherapist and psychologist from Marylebone and online across Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. I treat life transitions, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, and PTSD through individual online therapy. I provide a free consultation to discuss goals and plan therapy. As a therapist who having lived within diverse cultural settings, I believe in celebrating an individual’s race and cultural heritage rather than alienating or overlooking them. I deeply acknowledge and value your unique cultural identity and strive to assist you in attaining equilibrium and embracing acceptance within yourself.

Approach

My approach is integrative psychodynamic, an innovative and holistic approach to psychotherapy that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic schools of thought. It focuses on the dynamics and potentials of human relationships, with a goal of changing the relations and understanding internal and external resistances. Like the wind through the tree, my approach is a movement between the past and the present, between the inside and outside, between the therapist and the client.

Basic Information

Services

My clinical experience spans many years of working with people with a variety of difficulties, cultural background and sexual orientations. I am interested and experienced in working with adults who want to engage in psychotherapy to think about themselves more deeply, and understand themselves better. My understanding of psychotherapy starts from the position that there is no cure or fixation, and my practical experience makes me consider the goal of psychotherapy as a different avenue to change and growth, and to remove the obstacles to knowing the extent of our relations, thoughts, and feelings. Psychotherapy is a safe space for you to review your life, reflect and explore how you relate to others in your personal and professional life with me. As your therapist, I will listen to you with warmth and curiosity, and bring in my professional experience in a way that will support you in creating your own solutions. You can bring to the session whatever is on your mind – feelings, thoughts, memories, dreams. As your journey with the therapist develops, you will discover new insights and find different ways of coping with problems and feelings. It is not a quick fix, but takes effort and can be challenging in many ways.
