Mrs Aishani Chatterjee

Psychologist

I am a psychologist working to better understand how human nature interacts and shapes behavior.

About Me

Hi, I’m Aishani, a counselling psychologist with an MA in Clinical Psychology and five years of experience. I offer online therapy to adults navigating anxiety and overthinking, disconnection from themselves, uncertainty around identity, work or career concerns, relationship difficulties, and a desire for self-understanding and personal growth. Sessions are available in English, Hindi and Bengali. My approach is collaborative because I believe you know yourself and your life best. Rather than telling you what to do, I help you understand your experiences, recognise recurring patterns and find a way forward that feels meaningful to you. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so I tailor our work to your needs, goals, pace and comfort. Depending on what supports you best, our sessions may include exploring difficult emotions, understanding where certain patterns come from and developing practical, compassionate ways of responding to them differently, while creating space for greater clarity, connection, confidence and change.

Approach

I set a curious, practical rhythm in sessions that helps us trace how patterns from home, work and childhood shape what you face today. In Kolkata and Bangalore I work in Bengali, English or Hindi and offer online appointments when that makes engagement easier. I introduce brief grounding practices, simple explanations about mood and stress, and collaborative experiments to try between sessions so you can test what shifts your thinking, feelings and routine. This hands-on, adaptable way often suits people juggling work, relationships or major transitions. I also believe in a collaborative practice with my clients that helps them feel more in control of their sessions.
