Experienced psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the UK national health service working with a wide range of difficulties in adults. I have completed post qualification training in EMDR (3 parts with Sandy Richman, London) and a two year CAT psychotherapy training (St Thomas’s, London) approaches over 15 years ago and numerous shorter trainings. I offer a highly tailored treatment plan to suit your needs. My special interest and expertise lies in helping recover from PTSD/trauma-related problems.

About Me

I am a Registered Practitioner Psychologist off int remote therapy. I work with people facing difficult time in life, managing transitions, grief and loss, cross-cultural adjustment, trauma-related difficulties and PTSD. I offer brief and long terms therapy as well as EMDR intensives when suitable.

Approach

I specialise in trauma-related psychological difficulty such as PTSD and complex trauma and have a vast experience and expertise in working with a range of problems, such as bereavement, anxiety disorders, depression, low self esteem and interpersonal issues.

I have a particular expertise and experience using Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) as well as Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT).

I have over 20 years of experience in the NHS in senior position and the last role included coordinating complex PTSD team in north London. I offer an assessment that will shape a decision made jointly with you about the most effective therapeutic approach. We shall jointly discuss the plan and agree on a particular goal and type of therapy (whether that is CBT, EMDR, CAT or integrative approach that may include psycho-education and other phases of therapy). I also offer consultation service and supervision.
