Webinar - Dr Adrian Perkel on The Nature of Human Aggression

We’re pleased to announce a 90-minute webinar with Dr. Adrian Perkel titled “The Nature of Human Aggression.” With aggression being as rife as it is, both in individual behaviour and at scale in global conflict, understanding its roots is more relevant than ever.

Dr. Perkel is a clinical psychologist and published author with over 35 years of experience. He specialises in psychoanalytic and neuroscientific approaches to therapy, both individual and couples.

His work focuses on aggression as an internal drive and societal force. From personal relationships to large-scale geopolitical conflicts, aggression plays a fundamental role in how humans process emotion, trauma, and survival.

He will apply psychoanalytic theory and modern neuroscience to examine how aggression operates within the psyche. Expect field-leading insight into the death drive's influence on psychopathology and the homeostatic function of aggression—how the mind uses aggression to regulate emotional energy and bind free-floating anxiety.

The session will conclude with a live Q&A, allowing participants to engage directly with Dr. Perkel and ask specific questions about their practice.
