Current Status: Ireland is in transition toward comprehensive statutory regulation of mental health professionals. Currently, only psychiatrists are fully regulated under medical legislation, while psychologists and counsellors/psychotherapists are moving toward statutory regulation under CORU.Primary Legislation:
