Khobar
In Saudi Arabia the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties classifies and registers psychologists, and classification is required before practising. Psychologists are graded on the Commission's health-specialist ladder: specialist, senior specialist and consultant, tied to bachelor's, master's and doctoral training with supervised clinical experience. A practitioner's grade can be checked on the SCFHS register.
Psychiatrists are physicians and sit on the Commission's medical ladder, where grades such as registrar and consultant apply. Verify with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
