Find a Therapist in Asuncion, Paraguay

The list on this page is short, and it may not hold anyone who suits you. Two things below still apply. One is who is entitled to register as a therapist in this country. The other is what shapes the cost of a session here.

Services at Paraguay's public health establishments are free by law. Ley N.o 5099/2013 sets that out. The health ministry states that no staff member may ask for payment. The ban applies to appointments, queues, surgery and any other service in the public network.

The ministry also supplies the listed essential medicines at no charge. Private practice sits under Ley N.o 6293/2019, which sets no tariff for psychologists. Its only fee rule forbids splitting a fee with a colleague.

The register of psychologists is held by the health ministry, not a professional college.
